My voice is slowly coming back. It tends to be a little rough sounding after a day of talking. It also takes me about 2 hours in the morning to clear out what seems to build up in my throat over night....I gag and cough alot in the morning.
The weather here the past few days has been beautiful! Right now it's 75! If Lauren is awake we are outside as much as possible! Might as well be since it's all going back to the 40's by Sunday...ugh! Such a tease!
But she should be waking up from her nap soon so out we will go to wait for Kaila to get home!
That nastyness turned into a cold. It bugs me more early in the morning than any other time of day. It all seems to gather in my nose, ears, throat and wakes me up bright and early gasping to breath! Lots of coughing and gagging goes on, scaring dh and then I try and go back to sleep...lol! I do have some of my voice back but when I talk you can still hear it's not completely back. But I am not complaining. It's way better than it was this weekend! Thank you God!
It takes forever to load, so be patient and if you are on dial up, I wouodnt bother. And in case it will not load for you at all from Blogger, go here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=47BOhy8AFHU It might load better from the direct source. When I embed things on here I never have a problem on my end. This is great though - it is a short film on menstruation by Disney - as if Cinderella ever had cramps. Although now we know why her stepsisters were such snots. They must have had an "occasional twinge of nerves" - which I guess is the Disney description of PMS. This video is worth watching, if only for the illustration of how constipation can mess up the functioning of your internal organs. My favorite part is: "If the egg is impregnated, which happens when a woman is going to have a child..." I guess that happens through the magic of Disney. Tinkerbell waves her wand over your abdomen and *poof* out comes the baby. I love when it talks about "the old myths" of not taking showers during your period. They thought you could catch pnemonia and die! Of course they also believed that it was a crime to deny your husband in the bedroom and you could go to jail if you did. LOL!

I got the recipe from my friend. I have never thought of making it this way. I have always just bought those process chicken patties! Yeah what a imagination I have. So instead I breaded the chicken breasts myself baked them by themselves, took them out then topped with sauce and cheese and wah-lah! My house smells so yummy! lauren is so excited cause I told her she can hav the leftpvers for lunch tomorrow! Kaila will probably only eat half of one. Today lauren had the leftover salsa chicken we had yesterday and she loved it!
Ok here it goes....it actually kinda relates to my blog! I remember whan I was young (not sure how old I was) I told my mom that I wasn't going to get married till I was 88! I also told her that (not sure if it was the same day) I was going to have 100 kids! I know she also had me sign a paper with all that info on it so we had something to laugh about when I got older. Dont know if she still has it though.
Obviously I was young when I made these statements because we all know very well I would not have been able to have kids when I was 88! But it does point out that I was very young when I showed how much I wanted a family of my own! A very large one I might add...lol!
Guess I wont be having 100 kids. I also married at the age of 25. I should find out if my dh would have waited till I was 88...lol! But anyway...now I would really love to give birth to 1 child! I am still waiting patiently........
Oh what a beautiful day,
I've got a beautiful feeling,
Everythings going my way!
NOT!
I am trying to cheer myself up!
Spring is definately not in the air here!!
There's snow on the ground and it's 24 degrees F!
Happy Spring my butt! UGH!
Ah well.....I see brighter things to come!
So I got a recipe from a friend and cooked it in my slow cooker!
Just popped the meat in with the seasoning packet and poured water over it. Surounded it with potatoes and carrots and had it on meadium high for 4 hours. Then about 2 hours before serving we added the quatered cabbage. It was delicious! the aroma reminded me of dh's late grandmothers house! Dh shared many stories from when he was little while we gobbled it up!
But boy I am rememebering how gassy cabbage can make me today!
"Wow there is a spring Easter smell in the air mom!"
" Wow you can smell Easter in the air?" Ladiebug
"Yeah mom, you know that fresh smell you smell right before the Easter bunny comes?"
"Oh I thought you were smelling Peeps, jelly beans, chocolate or something like that."
"No Mom. You are so weird!" Giggling with glee.
"Gee thanks!"
"Well you are! But I love you anyway!" Giving me a hug!
Ok I'll be weird to get hugs from my daughter!
But that "spring Easter smell" was washed away with snow this morning. UGH!
So I promise from here on out they will be there right away and I will respond if needed! I am so sorry!
It comes with the template and all the cute little ladybug downloads. I got to put them in my photobucket account and load up the html where her disabled html was. plus take off what I dont use!

I have been window shopping for the longest time. I am a el cheapo when it comes to buying for myself! But I have been wanting an MP3 player for the longest time. I got one for my little brother around when they first came out. We have it now and it only holds 7 songs...lol! My dh uses it. My brother got himself one of those ipods. I refuse to pay that much! My cousin got one of the Shuffles and he said it's a piece of poop and fell apart. He replaced it with an ipod as well. But those are just way more than I could ever talk myself into spending on little old me. So I have been looking for one that has good quality, memory and wont make me feel guilty to pay for it.
I have been saving every dollar bill I have left over after I get paid. I saved $73! Of course I had to put more in but in the end I have the Sony Walkman NW-E305 (512 MB) MP3 Player. It has fm radio and it can hold up to 345 songs! I dont think I even have that many songs I like right now..lol! But last night dh showed me how to load it up :0) I did my 2 mile walking video with it and I am in love! I have been calling it my little bean. Little did I know that that is what it is called. The packaging just says the above name but when I found it online they call it Bean.
So this will be my companion all summer long while I take my outdoor walks! I also have been listening to it till I almost fall asleep at night...I always wondered why everyone had their headsets on everywhere now. This makes it so much more convenient!
It came with earbuds but those things dont stay in my ears so I got a headset. I love the cute little screen saver with fruit flying around....lol! My husband thinks I'm wacko when I find something new on it..lol! I stil have to figure out how to use the radio part but hey I have only had it a couple days! I am impressed that i know how to load the music on! baby steps!
Not much going on here......had some crazy wetaher. Was in the 60's yesterday and now it's 30 and snowing with high winds.
Not much going on with TTC...just the norm. Taking the metformin for PCOS and Vitex to help regualate my cycle. Hopefulkly I will ovulate earlier this round than last cycle.
Dh has been so excited for the last couple months! He even remembered that he needed to see if his mom could watch Kaila without me reminding him! That's a big deal if you know my Dave! But pf course he remembers for his Sabres!
Sp that's hwere we will be tonight! Yay!
I have always been pretty good at baking. At one point in my life I wanted to be a baker...but there's really not much money in it anymore now that the gorcery stores have bakeries of their own.
Well for the last 2 years when I have made chocolate chip cookies they have been flat as pancakes! I always followed the Toll House Cookie recipe on the back of the chocolate chip bag. I gave up making them. So Dave decided he would makie them and he had the same problem. Well Kaila has been begging me to make cookies with her. So yesterday I asked my friend for her recipe. Then I also found a sight online with tiups on how to make the perfect Chocolate Chip cookie. It said: 1. You have to make sure your butter is softened not melted ( I never melt the butter, but I know Dave did when he made them). 2. Always chill the dough before baking and keep chilled in between batches. 3. Always cool down the cookie sheets before making another batch.
Wah-la! My cookies aren't flat this time! I wont go back to the Toll House recipe though...this one is much better!
Those of you who knew me as Ladybug Lane know I had to post this..lol!
